Erin Fetherston, New York fashion designer based in Paris. For her Fall/Winter 08-09 collection, Photographer Ellen von Unwerth shot a short film called "A Dreamy Wander", staring Zooey Deschanel.

In 2006, Ellen von Unwerth and Erin Fetherston collaborated on "Wendybird", a film of Kirsten Dunst frolicking in a park. Now they have teamed up again for another fashion short, "A Dreamy Wander". This slightly longer film features Zooey Deschanel getting lost in the woods and being taken on a magic mushroom trip involving fairies and Erin Featherston's pretty dresses.

Girl Talk:
Feed the Animals

     相信大家知道Girl Talk是因为其2006年的专辑［Night Ripper］。［Night Ripper］让Girl Talk在北美一炮而红，更是把以Girl Talk为艺名的Gregg Gillis送上了无止境的巡演，在世界各地的club里放出Girl Talk独一无二的mashup声音。听过Girl Talk的人都知道，他的音乐主体是说唱和大家耳熟能详的流行金曲这两个音轨并行的mash-ups。多种音轨碰撞、摩擦、融合，给人们带来了无数的兴奋点。你也许不是一个说唱爱好者，但仔细听Girl Talk的歌，很可能会得到只属于你自己的感动。其实我们都和Gregg Gillis一样，生活在这个耳边充斥着流行音乐的现代社会里。Gregg Gillis本人说，他是一个狂热的流行音乐迷。不过他是一个非常聪明的流行音乐迷。他知道人类听觉记忆的玄妙之处，知道怎样利用人们对所熟悉的音乐的依恋。Gregg Gillis很明确地说到：“我的音乐的基本点是人们对这些歌的特殊情感。操控这种情感使我的音乐很容易打动人。”而Girl Talk带给我们的声音也正是我们的耳朵想要的。
      2008年发行的新专辑［Feed the Animals］在传承Girl Talk一贯的说唱加流行歌曲mashup风格的基础上，给我们带来了更多听觉上的惊喜。也许你迷恋过小甜甜布兰妮，也许你反反复复地听过涅磐的卡带，也许现在的你总是沉醉于Radiohead的听觉幻觉，相信你都会在［Feed the Animals］中找到自己内心深处的兴奋点。对笔者来说，最激动的时刻是专辑第三首歌Still Here的开头，听到Procol Harum的A Whiter Shade Of Pale旋律的那一瞬间的感动是无法用语言简单表达的。这一段音乐同时被说唱组合YoungBloodZ反反复复的“If you don't give a damn, we don't give a f＊＊k”覆盖，说唱的节奏明显增加了整首歌的韵律和动感。笔者的心跳跟着YoungBloodZ的说唱加速，神经跟着Procol Harum的管风琴声震颤。这大概就是Girl Talk音乐的魅力吧。专辑第九首歌Hands In The Air中更是出现了The Cardigans的Lovefool, Hot Chip的Ready For The Floor, The Velvet Underground的Sunday Morning等等如雷贯耳的大金曲，让人不能不佩服Gregg Gillis的音乐意识。与其说［Feed the Animals］是一张DJ专辑，不如说它是一个有头有尾的狂欢派对，一个完整的听觉盛宴。当第13首歌Don't Stop中间The Cure的Pictures Of You前奏响起时，你便知道这场派对接近尾声了。如果想体验听觉的狂欢，就来参加［Feed the Animals］的派对吧。

Weezer:

Weezer发行红专辑，东山再起，如果说他们2001年的绿专辑也能算是东山的话。2001年绿专辑实在平庸，2005年［Make Believe］已然恶劣，Weezer今年的红专辑可以直接成为他们的退休资格证了。这四个人长得一般，行为又古怪，在成为摇滚明星之后又不停地为此抱怨。不过如果你欣赏他们直率的讽刺、诡异的诚实和两极分裂的吉他失真，倒是不妨去听一听红专辑75分钟的power-pop。

Beck:

［Modern Guilt］是Beck最新的实验。其中音乐更加多元化，歌词更加深沉。Beck在最后一首歌Volcano中唱到：“我厌倦了只想被讨好的人们／但我还是要讨好你们”。我们还能被讨好多久？

Hercules and Love Affair是来自纽约布鲁克林的实验disco三人组。他们在电子厂牌DFA下发行的同名专辑也是他们的首张专辑。Hercules是希腊神话中的大力神，Hercules and Love Affair通过他们柔和、复古、节奏感强的音乐试图表达世界上最强大的人的最温柔和最脆弱。
